Alex is a Chartered Physiotherapist who trained at University of Central Lancashire. Currently, he works between Lancashire Teaching Hospital Trust and Clinics. Since 2017, he has developed expertise in specialist complex Brain and Spinal Injuries, Respiratory Conditions and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation. 
He is a very experienced in the treatment of general and elite sport groups. Treatment of the body and not just the presenting complaint. Being no stranger to injuries himself, Alex has suffered from serious rugby injuries causing him to withdraw from the sport for a number of years before returning again. Now focusing on Physiotherapy, he uses his personal understanding and experiences of injuries to improve the recovery experience for clients.
Alex has competed to an elite level in rugby union playing internationally for Cyprus both Seven's and XV's whilst playing national league club rugby.
Now retired from sport, Alex continues his involvement with Cyprus Rugby Federation as Head of Medicals and Physiotherapist.
